Privacy notice
This explains what happens to the information you give us when you ask about a garden room, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, phone and email, plus your house number, street and postcode
- About your project: the room's main use, rough size, timescale, optional budget and any notes about your garden
- Technical details our website host records when pages load, such as IP address and browser type, for security
- Visit statistics, collected only when you allow analytics cookies
How we use it
- To arrange the design consultation you asked for and respond to your enquiry (lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract)
- To keep a record of enquiries and protect the website against misuse (legitimate interests)
- To understand which parts of the website are useful, if you agree to analytics (consent)
Who receives your details
Consultations, designs and builds are carried out by an independent garden room installer working in your area. When you send a request, we share your details with that installer so they can contact you about your garden room. The installer is responsible for how they use your details from then on and will have their own privacy notice.
We also use service providers who handle data on our behalf under contract: Cloudflare (website hosting and form handling) and Zoho (enquiry records and email). Some providers may process data outside the UK, with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We never sell your details.
Contacting you
Sending a request means you agree to contact about it by phone, text, WhatsApp or email; tell us if another method suits you better, or if you'd like contact to stop. Marketing is only sent if you have asked for it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 2 years, then deleted. Photos or files you send are kept for 2 years.
Your rights
You have the right to see the information held about you and to have it corrected, deleted, restricted or no longer used. Consent can be withdrawn whenever you like. Write to info@newcastlegardenrooms.com. Concerns about how your information is handled can also be raised with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
